Former British Cycling manager joins Game Changer Performance to bring elite sport winning knowledge to the corporate market
A former talent and development manager for British Cycling, who has worked with some of the world’s biggest global brands, has joined human performance specialist Game Changer Performance as director of corporate performance.
Harriet Evans, who has a track record partnering with companies to invigorate marginal gains thinking across their organisations, will steer GCP’s multi-disciplinary specialists to bring a unique whole-person approach to deliver change across organisations.
She will use the considerable experience gained through working with the world’s top sporting talent and global companies to deliver development programmes for employees across all management levels to be at their best in work and in life.
Harriet, who has competed for Great Britain, worked with national governing bodies to uncover Olympic and Paralympic medal winners for GB and Australia in rowing, athletics, taekwondo, cycling, canoeing, sailing and shooting at the Beijing, London, and Rio Olympics.
“My role was to find athletes capable of winning gold medals, devising the initiatives to find the talent, often in areas previously unthought of, working with the coaches to devise the testing and monitoring of athletes, and work with the wider support team to ensure the athletes had a rounded approach to their development,” she said.
Before joining GCP Harriet spent six years as a senior consultant with management consultancy Lane4, working across industries and geographies to deliver award-winning change.
“The combination of my experience in elite level sport and across the corporate sector has equipped me to join the specialists at Game Changer Performance to bring this unique service to new markets,” explained Harriet.

Game Changer Performance has been working alongside the Football Association and the Professional Footballers Association at England’s national football centre in Staffordshire, St George’s Park (SGP).
Growing demand for GCP’s unique approach from companies looking for innovative ways to further their own development and the performance of their people has inspired it to develop two specialised programmes based on its experience of preparing sports stars for elite competition.
GCP’s digital wellness profiling app, Curve, and physical workplace fitness service, Train, are to be launched within the next few weeks under Harriet’s directorship.
