Caitlin joins the team this month as a physical performance coach from speedworks training, where she has been working as part of their performance coaching team for the past two years.
Having recently completed her masters in strength & conditioning at Loughborough University, Caitlin has also worked at both Leicester and Norwich City football clubs. There, she led aspects of the sports science/coaching delivery within the respective academies. What is more, spent time working across various business development and commercial functions.
Based at St George’s Park, Caitlin’s role at GCP will be working on the Professional Footballers Association rehabilitation programme and also our very own education experience days. Alongside her coaching, Caitlin will be working closely with the GCP sales and marketing team to support business development.
On joining GCP, Caitlin said “GCP are an exciting organisation to be a part of, the unrivalled facilities and multi-disciplinary team enable us to support athletes with every detail of their journey ; be it return to play, post-surgery rehab or overall performance enhancement. I’m looking forward to learning from a well-versed team of experts who each bring their own specialism and collection of experiences. Meanwhile, I’m eager to begin contributing to the growth of the company and seeing where we can get to in the next couple of years with the support of The PFA and various other stakeholders”.
